Courses
The library undertakes to teach the NWPU undergraduates the optional course of computer information retrieval. The course is to assist students in using the library resources, enhancing their information consciousness and information acquisition ability, and equipping them with the ability to conduct self-teaching and scientific research.
Workshops
Each semester, the library offers readers training courses and lectures on various subjects. They include:library collections and their utilization, online public acquisition catalogue (OPAC), the retrieval and utilization of electronic resources purchased by the library, such as SCI, EI and ISTP and their retrieval skills, dissertations and their retrieval and acquisition methods, special types of document retrieval and utilization. These training courses and lectures aim to assist readers in taking full advantage of all library collections.
